Buying for a baby is oddly hard. Everything claims to be soft, safe and essential, and a fair amount of it is none of those things by the second month.
HuggingMum is a small range built the other way round. Six departments — sleep, clothing, bath & care, feeding, play & learn, and the bits that make leaving the house possible. Each one is chosen against the standard that actually applies to it, and we only open a category once we know what it has to pass.

Every product page lists its materials in full. We open a category once we can describe it plainly, not once we can badge it.

A small range on purpose
Six departments, not six hundred products. If two things do the same job we keep the one that lasts longer and drop the other.

Bought for one age, used for two
Age ranges are generous and adjustable where it matters. Nothing here is designed to be outgrown a month after it arrives.
