A Winter Suit That Doubles As The Christmas Photograph
Fawn Suit By HuggingMum
Hooded fawn romper · 66 to 100 cm
A hooded baby romper made up as a spotted fawn. Thick caramel plush under a scatter of white spots, a cream face panel on the hood with closed, sleepy eyes, and two brown felt antlers standing above the ears. A rounded cream bib runs down the chest, and one zip opens the suit from the ribbed neckline through the bib and on through the crotch.

Wrapped up for a cold walk
Hood down, ribbed neck showingA hooded winter onesie in thick spotted plush, with a fawn face on the hood, two soft felt antlers, a cream bib panel and one zip that runs from the neck, down the chest and through the crotch. Made for December mornings, pram walks and the long evenings in between.
☁️ Thick Plush, Not Thin Costume Fleece
A dense, deep pile in warm caramel scattered with white fawn spots, lined to hold heat in. It has the weight of a proper winter layer, not the thin shell of a dress-up suit worn once.
🦌 A Face That Is Stitched, Never Glued
The cream hood panel carries embroidered sleepy eyes with lashes, a soft brown nose, a stitched smile and two pink blush cheeks. The antlers and the little spotted ears are sewn in at the base. Nothing on this suit is glued on, so nothing peels off in the wash.
⚡ One Zip, Neck To Crotch
The zip runs straight down the cream bib panel and carries on through the crotch, so a change is one pull rather than a wrestle with poppers. Easier on a cold changing mat, easier at 3am.
🧣 Ribbed Cuffs At Wrists And Ankles
Rust-brown ribbed knit closes both sleeves and both legs, so cuffs stay down over little wrists in the pram instead of riding up every few minutes, and the legs stay put too.
🎄 Warm Enough For Winter, Sweet Enough For December
It photographs beautifully next to a tree, and it still works on an ordinary wet Tuesday in February. One suit for the whole cold season, not one afternoon.

Sizes
Five sizes, chosen by your baby's height rather than by age: 66cm, 73cm, 80cm, 90cm and 100cm, covering roughly three months to three years. The suit is cut roomy to go over normal clothes, so if your baby is between two sizes, take the larger one.
In the box
Fawn Suit × 1
The suit is listed as 100% polyester, made up as a thickened plush with a soft lining and cut for autumn and winter. The white spots sit in the fabric rather than being pieces sewn on. The face panel, the two ears and the two felt antlers are stitched onto the hood.
Nothing in the paperwork covers washing. The label sewn inside the suit is the only instruction worth following, and printing a temperature we were never given would be a guess. Send us a question first and we will read the label and copy out exactly what it says.
Dispatch takes 1–3 business days from the order reaching us. Tracked delivery adds 8–15 business days on top of that. Postage on this order costs nothing.
The return window is 30 days, counted from delivery. The suit goes back unworn, with its tags, in its original packaging, and we pay for the label.

What the fawn is made of
The plush, the face, the antlers and the zip — seven parts of the suit, each with what we actually know about it. Open any one for the spec.
Size & fit
Sizes here are named after a height, and height is the only figure the maker supplied. The age column is our own reading of that height and nothing more — children of the same age vary far too much for it to count as a specification. Chest, length and sleeve figures taken from the flat garment were never issued for this suit, so the last column says so rather than carrying numbers we cannot stand behind.
Go by a tape measure rather than a birthday. Stand your child against a wall, measure to the top of the head, and take the size at or just above that number. Where they fall between two, take the larger one. The suit is cut roomy so it goes over normal clothes rather than under them, the plush is thick, and a sleeve that runs long is gathered back by the ribbed cuff. Write to us first and we will put a tape over a suit from stock for you.
Next to a novelty Christmas outfit
Open, lift, zip.
One zip, no studs. Opened right down, the suit lies flat, and closing it again is a single pass from the crotch to the collar.
STEP 1
Draw the zip right down so the suit opens flat
STEP 2
Set your child in, legs first, then the arms
STEP 3
Close the zip to the collar, then lift the hood

The sizes are 66, 73, 80, 90 and 100. Each of those numbers is a height in centimetres, and the suit is built around it. Roughly, that works out as 3–6 months, 6–12 months, 12–18 months, 18–24 months and 2–3 years, though the ages are our own approximation from the height rather than the maker's. Measure to the top of the head and take the size at or just above that figure. Between two, the larger one.
It is listed as 100% polyester, made up as a thickened plush with a soft lining and cut for autumn and winter. The white spots sit in the fabric rather than being sewn on. The lining is not broken out separately on the paperwork, so if its exact content matters to you, ask and we will read the sewn-in label before you order.
One zip, starting at the ribbed neckline, running down through the cream bib and carrying on through the crotch. Nothing fastens at the back. Opened fully, the suit lies flat, so a nappy change does not mean undressing your child completely.
Follow the label sewn into the suit. No care instructions came through with this product, and we are not prepared to print a temperature or a symbol that the label might then contradict. Write to us first and we will read the label and copy its wording out for you.
Dispatch takes 1–3 business days, and tracked delivery adds a further 8–15 business days. The tracking number reaches you by email the same day it is dispatched. We post to most European countries and across North America; any duties are added at the checkout. If you want it for a particular date in December, count the whole window back from that date and order with room to spare. We would rather not name a Christmas cut-off, because that leg is an estimate and not something we control.
Thirty days from the day it lands, and you can start a return. It comes back unused with the tags still on, in its original packaging, and we issue the label. If it is a size swap rather than a return, tell us when you write and we will arrange it.
